It seems like more and more people are riding motorcycles. But we’re not just talking about ordinary scooters or underbones. Even sales of expensive and exotic brands have been on the uptick lately. This is why SMC Asia Car Distributors Corporation wants to strike while the iron is hot.

Aside from launching several models, the company wants to expand its BMW Motorrad dealer network. Setting its sights in Central Luzon, it has partnered with the Laus Group of Companies which knows the region well. Both firms recently broke ground the first BMW stand-alone motorcycle showroom in Pampanga.

Called Premier Motorrad, this 679sq-m facility in San Fernando, Pampanga will showcase all 14 models sold locally. From adventure machines to sport bikes and even heritage models, Premiere Motorrad will soon have them all. It will also sell riding gear and equipment, as well as branded merchandise. Furthermore, the dealership will have several maintenance bays and handover areas that will cater to the various needs of its clientele.

Premier Motorrad is set to open in the first quarter of 2022. By then, BMW Motorrad enthusiasts from Central and Northern Luzon, and even those from Metro Manila will have another place to ride to.
