Every year, Filipinos flock outside Metro Manila to celebrate Undas in their respective provinces. Metro Pacific Tollways Corporation (MPTC) will be rolling out its “Biyaheng Arangkada”program from October 29 to November 3 to support motorists for a smooth and safe journey.
According to MPTC, traffic volume is expected to increase by around 5% overall, with a peak surge of 12% on October 30-31. That is why the tollway operator will be providing the following services and assistance through its program:

- Medical assistance from standby teams across the expressways
- Free towing to the nearest exit for Class 1 (and Class 1M on CCLEX) vehicles from 6am on October 30, to 6am on November 3
- Free 24/7 basic mechanical services at select NLEX and SCTEX Rest and Refuel Stations as well as toll plazas along CAVITEX and CALAX
- EV charging stations and free Wi-Fi at select NLEX Rest and Refuel Stations

Approximately 2,000 personnel will be mobilized to provide operational support round the clock. Also, roadworks, lane closures, and maintenance activities will be suspended from October 29 to November 3 (except for emergency repairs).
Motorists are advised to ensure that their vehicle’s RFIDs are properly installed and sufficiently loaded before hitting the road to avoid delays and inconveniences.
