The future of BMW Philippines is electric, as shown with its first-quarter sales this year. SMC Asia Car Distributors is happy to report that the German luxury brand has sold 230 units this year (January-March), marking a 19% year-on-year increase.

Majority of the sales volume consisted of electrified models such as the X3 30e xDrive PHEV, the X5 xDrive50e PHEV, and the X1 xDrive25e PHEV. Aside from the SUVs, the success of the i5 eDrive40 and the 520i Hybrid proves that there is still demand for executive sedans.

If you want to see BMW’s electric lineup, you can visit the “BMW Future Forward Tour.” The road show will be held at C1 Park in Bonifacio Global City on April 24-26.
