Jetour Auto Philippines made a significant impact at the 2026 Manila International Auto Show with a booth featuring its new flagship model. The Chinese lifestyle brand plans to go upscale with a full-size luxury SUV, the GAIA G700, and a new dealership at North EDSA.

The G700 sits on the Jetour’s Generation of All-Terrain Intelligent Architecture (GAIA) platform with a boxy design, like many other large body-on-frame off-roaders. Its tall, muscular build allows it to wade waters up to 900mm and tow loads of up to 2,500kg.

Under the hood is a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine paired with a 34.13kWh battery pack in a dual-motor setup, producing a combined 892hp and 1,135Nm. With a full tank and a plug-in charge, the G700 claims to achieve a range of up to 1,200km.

Passengers will be entertained by a 15.6-inch infotainment system featuring Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 17.3-inch ceiling-mounted display, and an 18-speaker Lexicon sound system. However, the dashboard makes you feel as if you were in a spacecraft with the vast 35.4-inch LCD instrument cluster spanning its width.

For maximum comfort, the cabin features a built-in fragrance system and second-row massaging captain’s seats with eight different modes. For maximum space, its trunk capacity can hold up to 719L with the third row folded.

For a vehicle of this size, the G700 offers loads of advanced safety and quality-of-life features, including an 11-airbag system, 12 ultrasonic radars, lane-change and lane-keep assists, adaptive cruise control, and automatic parking.

The Jetour GAIA G700 starts at P4,488,000 and comes with a six-year general warranty, a 10-year engine warranty, and coverage up to 1,000,000km. Anyone can inquire about this new PHEV SUV at the newly opened North EDSA dealership, which shares space with BAIC and Lynk & Co.
