Alongside this milestone was the sales manager training

Changan has been exclusively distributed by Inchcape Philippines since 2023. Its growth has been exponential since it caters to consumers of internal-combustion, plug-in hybrids, and electric vehicles. Through hard work and persistence, the brand climbed up and is now ranked fifth in the battery electric vehicle and plug-in hybrid electric vehicle segments.

Strengthening its footing in the country, five new dealerships will be added to its growing portfolio. Branches will be erected in Central Luzon and Mindanao, specifically in Butuan, Davao, General Santos, Surigao, and San Fernando (Pampanga). This expands its hold within the Philippine market while also making it accessible to both potential buyers and owners.

Inchcape signed with three auto networks through its dealer principals. The distributor awarded the Davao and General Santos showrooms to Angcore Motors, led by vice president and chief operating officer Tobi Ang. Meanwhile, the Butuan and Surigao stores will be handled by Global Cars and represented by Christian Osin. Lastly, the facility in San Fernando, Pampanga, will be managed by Gozun Cars, headed by its managing director Matthew Gozun.

A company’s growth is not just measured in quantity—whether in new outlet openings or high profit margins—but also in the quality and improvements of its employees and in the feedback of its clients.

Recently, Inchcape held a sales manager training at Changan C5 Pasig. They tackled the said role while highlighting the importance of leadership, KPI and planning, team development, and inventory and operational management for someone in that position. This can enhance customer experience and workplace satisfaction, and guide the automaker’s direction in the country.

Changan’s milestone is significant, though the ground-breaking and opening have not been specified. This partnership among the companies is something to look forward to, not only for the units that clients can purchase but also for the work opportunities that will be available to the locals.
