During its previous year-end gathering with the media, GAC Motor Philippines laid out its ambitious plan for this year—more models, more stores, and more sales. We’re more than halfway done with the year, and the company was glad to report many business milestones during its midyear dealer conference.
The biggest achievement is the increase in sales. A total of 1,702 units were sold from January to June, a 172% growth compared to last year (625 units). Among the vehicles sold, the GS3 Emzoom accounts for 64%.
Because of this, GAC ranks 12th in market share as of June year-to-date. And according to the Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines, it is the third-highest-volume Chinese brand.

It was announced that six models were going to be introduced this year. And so far, we have the M6 Pro, the M8, and the Emkoo Hybrid. Meanwhile, eight new partners also signed dealer agreements during the conference:
- GAC Angeles – Dreamcar Unlimited Automotive
- GAC BGC, GAC Calamba and GAC Taytay – Authoub Group
- GAC Cebu – Autocentral
- GAC Dasmariñas – Premier Autoventures
- GAC Quezon Avenue – Philadelphia Business Initiative
- GAC Santa Rosa – Bermaz Auto Asia
- GAC Valenzuela – ADOT Motors
- GAC Zamboanga – Otto-Motto Mobility
“Our team has shown unstoppable momentum as we continue to achieve new milestones and break new ground across the country,” said GAC Motor Philippines brand head Franz Decloedt. “We are immensely grateful for the warm support of new customers, and are eager to deliver the outstanding mobility solutions that GAC offers to even more Filipinos.”
