The highly anticipated local sim racing event—Toyota Gazoo Racing Philippines eSports GT Championship 2025 Finals—is happening this weekend at Ayala Malls Manila Bay. Originally, a worldwide series (the Toyota Gazoo Racing GT Cup) was downsized to regions. Regardless of the setback, fans are hyped and looking forward to the next clash.

Toyota Motor Philippines released the names of the leading 40 players from the 250 participants who entered the contest. These competitors have set impressive laps on the Suzuka East Short Course on Gran Turismo 7 while using the Toyota GR Supra RZ ’20—the fastest being Enzo Ison with a time of 56.272 seconds.

On October 11 (Saturday), the 40 challengers will compete for the quarterfinals. The quickest 20 will move on from the quarterfinals to the semifinals the following day, October 12 (Sunday). Only half of them will have the opportunity to move forward to the finals later in the day. The top finishers are set to be the representatives of the Philippines for the TGR Asia eSports GT Championship 2025.

Toyota will showcase the GR line (the GR Yaris, the GR Supra, and the GR86), the Vios one-make race car (OMR), and the Tamaraw OMR that were driven recently at the Toyota Gazoo Racing Philippine Cup. Virtual motorsport fans can get hold of official GR merchandise, as well as explore the game booths and sim rigs around the vicinity.
Keep a close eye on the drivers’ techniques as they advance to the next level and elevate their skills throughout the rounds.
