Founder of Honda tuner Spoon Sports is coming to Manila

Watching over a new Civic Type R build on August 10-11

If you ask any enthusiast, Spoon Sports comes to mind as an iconic aftermarket brand for Honda. Since 1988, Tatsuru Ichishima has been selling aero kit, engine and suspension parts, and more to push the limits of any S2000, Integra, Fit/Jazz, and Civic.

DZ Racing, the official local distributor for Spoon Sports, and NeoClassic have announced that Ichishima and his team will be flying in from their Type One garage in Tokyo to Filinvest, Alabang. He will also oversee a Spoon-themed FL5 Civic Type R being built at Carbon Detailing Studio.

His public appearance alongside Takuya Kai, Daisuke Jomoto, and Hiro Yokomori will be on August 10-11 (10am-6pm), so prepare your pen and Honda/Spoon memorabilia by then.
