With every challenge comes a new opportunity, and this is clear as day for VinFast Philippines. The EV brand has enticing programs to make the switch as easy as possible for Filipinos: the battery-subscription model and the Residual Value Guarantee program. Now, VinFast owners can enjoy free charging at V-Green stations since the offer has been extended until March 31, 2029.

To drive the point even further, VinFast Philippines did some math for us. Assuming that electricity costs P13.8161/kWh and that the average user drives 40km every day in a month, you can save this much with the following models:

  • VF 3 (18.64kWh battery and 215km per full charge) – P1,440
  • VF 5 (37.23kWh battery and 326km per full charge) – P1,890
  • VF 6 Plus (59.6kWh battery and 460km per full charge) – P2,150

Apply these to a period of three years and the savings stack up to as much as P77,000. Take note that these numbers are theoretical, and your real-world mileage will vary.
