Units of the Hycan V09 have finally reached our shores

Customers can now get their hands on this stylish electric van

When Hycan Motor Philippines held its brand launch in our market earlier this year, one of the models that piqued our curiosity was the V09.

The electrified Alphard fighter looked good, had a long list of standard equipment, and seemed well-built.

There seemed to be such genuine interest in the model that Transcorp, the brand’s official distributor in the country, accepted reservations while waiting for the shipment to arrive.

And now, customers who reserved for one can finally get their hands on these shiny, brand-new vans.

In a press statement, Hycan Philippines announced the arrival of the V09 units on our shores. The press kit contained photos of the units lined up and being delivered by a truck to its main office in Valenzuela.

The press kit didn’t provide much information about the model. But based on the short product presentation during the brand launch, the V09 will have an estimated driving range of 762km.

It will take eight to 10 hours of charging to juice up the ceramic battery packs of the van through 4C extreme fast charging technology.

A quick look at the website shows the various highlight features of the V09, which include a single-core high-performance AI chip and a surround-sound infotainment system with different audio and video applications.

The van also has heated and ventilated seats for the driver and the passengers, and recognizes voice commands.

It also has multiple screens on the dash, including the digital instrument cluster, the infotainment system, the dashboard on the front passenger’s side, and a bigger one in the second row.

No drivetrain information was shared, but a check with the Chinese website shows that it makes 271hp and 335Nm of torque.

At P3,788,000, the V09 is a bit pricey. But given the long list of features and advanced EV technology, it could be a good alternative to more expensive luxury vans from legacy brands (fingers crossed).

See the V09 in the metal and know more about it by visiting Hycan Philippines’ website or its dealership along EDSA in Quezon City.
