The next wave of cars from MG Motor Philippines has arrived at the 10th Philippine International Motor Show with the introduction of three New Energy Vehicles to meet the needs of Filipino motorists at different price points.

The MG 4 Urban EV makes battery electric vehicles even more attainable. For a price of only P1,198,888 (or P1,148,888 for the first 100 buyers), you get a compact hatchback with a 110kW electric motor and powered by a 43.2kWh lithium-iron phosphate battery with up to 403km of range.
It measures 4,395mm long, 1,842mm wide, and 1,549mm high, with a wheelbase of 2,750mm. Inside, you’ll find a 12.8-inch infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, along with 480L of cargo storage (plus 98L with the underfloor compartment). This expands to 1,364L with the rear seats folded.

According to MG, the HS PHEV has been the best-selling plug-in hybrid in the UK for two consecutive years. It has a total range of over 1,000km thanks to the combination of a 1.5-liter turbo-gasoline engine and an electric motor. The compact crossover has premium features such as the MG Pilot ADAS, and dual 12.3-inch displays with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
The HS PHEV has an SRP of P1,548,888, with a P30,000 cash discount and a free 7kW wall charger for those who reserve and purchase this month. Take note that this is different from the MG HS Hybrid+, which lacks a charging port.

The RX9 PHEV completes the trio. This model is the flagship seven-seater with a 1.5-liter turbo-gasoline engine and an electric motor powered by a 24.7kWh battery. It has a range of up to 115km on electric power alone, and 1,100km with the hybrid system. In addition to the premium features found on the HS PHEV, the RX9 PHEV also has ventilated front seats with 12-way power adjustment, a 12-speaker audio system by Bose, and tri-zone climate control.
The SRP is P1,998,888. And just like with the HS PHEV, early buyers this June can get a P30,000 cash discount and a free 7kW wall charger.

“The Next Wave Continues reflects MG’s ongoing commitment to bringing more advanced and accessible mobility solutions to the Philippines,” MG Motor Philippines president Wei Wei Zhang. “As customer demand for electrified vehicles continues to grow, we are proud to expand our lineup with products that combine global technology, everyday practicality, and outstanding value for Filipino motorists.”
