We’re not even halfway done with the year and Astara Philippines has been pretty busy—especially with the upcoming Manila International Auto Show. The event will feature 26 brands, split between two venues. Among the plethora of automakers that will be present, four of them belong to Astara.
GAC appears to be the star of Astara’s show. The Chinese brand will display its first electrified vehicle, the Emkoo Hybrid. This will also be joined by the newly launched M6 Pro and the M8, as well as the GS3 Emzoom, the Empow, and the GS8, for a total of six models.
JAC is one of Astara’s latest acquisitions, and it will be debuting at MIAS with five models: the JS4 subcompact crossover, the JS6 premium compact crossover, the JS8 Pro seven-seater, and two pickups (the T8 Pro and the T9).
Completing the distributor’s portfolio are JMC and Peugeot, the latter of which will be showcasing the 3008 and the 5008. MIAS will be held this year on April 4-7 at World Trade Center and SMX Convention Center in Pasay City.
