VinFast has officially become the first car brand in the Vietnamese market to surpass the 100,000-unit vehicle sales mark after only the first three quarters of the year. This is an inevitable result after 11 consecutive months of being “best-selling in Vietnam” with an increasing market share, affirming VinFast’s absolute leading position in the domestic market.

In September, VinFast sold 13,914 electric cars of all kinds, bringing the cumulative total from the beginning of the year to the end of the third quarter to 103,884 cars—achieving unprecedented sales in the history of the Vietnamese automobile market.

In particular, the best-selling model is still VF 3—the national electric car model—with a total of 31,386 units sold in nine months, of which 2,682 were sold in September alone.

The VF 7 also achieved impressive business results, being one of the most popular C-SUV models today with a cumulative nine-month sales of 5,877 vehicles (and 778 sold in September).

The seven-seat MPV model optimized for the Limo Green service business had a strong breakthrough in September, reaching the top of the segment with 2,120 units delivered to customers.

With the peak business months of the fourth quarter still in full swing, production capacity has been expanded with two factories in Hai Phong and Ha Tinh. VinFast is expected to set more impressive new records by the end of 2025.

VinFast’s persistence in surpassing all foreign gasoline and electric car manufacturers for 11 consecutive months has affirmed the company’s absolute No. 1 position in the Vietnamese market

Speaking about the breakthrough achievement after the first nine months of the year, VinFast deputy general director of sales and marketing Duong Thi Thu Trang said: “Behind the sales of more than 100,000 cars are millions of customers’ support and trust in VinFast. We are extremely grateful to consumers and committed to making continuous efforts to bring more practical benefits to customers, thereby strongly promoting the green transformation in Vietnam.”

VinFast’s persistence in surpassing all foreign gasoline and electric car manufacturers for 11 consecutive months—becoming the first car manufacturer to achieve a record sales of 100,000 units in the first nine months of the year—has affirmed the company’s absolute No. 1 position in the Vietnamese market.

This is also a clear demonstration of the unprecedented rise of the Vietnamese automobile industry, when domestic automobile brands far surpass international automobile brands, becoming the first choice of the majority of customers.

In particular, VinFast’s record sales are an important indicator that electric vehicles have become a mainstream consumption trend in Vietnam. This trend not only ensures VinFast’s positive and sustainable business prospects, but also affirms its ability to realize the goal of making Vietnam one of the leading countries in popularizing electric vehicles in the world in the near future.
