The 10th Philippine International Motor Show marks the first PIMS appearance of BAIC Philippines, where it joined the other brands of the UAAGI group—such as Chery, Foton, Jetour, Lynk & Co, and Radar.
The highlight of the BAIC booth was the B40e Trailmaster rEV. This plug-in hybrid has a total range of more than 1,200km, thanks to the combination of a 1.5-liter turbo-gasoline engine, a pair of electric motors, and a 40.3kWh battery. Combined, they provide a maximum output of 540hp and 655Nm of torque.

The brand also launched its “Drive Big with BAIC” campaign at PIMS 2026, with Andre, Kobe, and Benjie Paras as brand ambassadors.
“Driving big isn’t about size,” said BAIC Philippines brand head Timothy Sytin. “It’s about giving Filipinos more room to live and the confidence to take on whatever the road brings. That’s the kind of vehicle we build, and the kind of driver we build it for.”
You can visit BAIC Philippines at PIMS 2026 until June 7 at World Trade Center Metro Manila in Pasay City. To learn more about the brand’s New Energy SUVs, you can visit this website.
