MG Motor Philippines has officially begun sales of the G50 PHEV. The model was first unveiled at the 2026 Manila International Auto Show. It looked promising, being an electrified seven-seater MPV with a combined range of up to 1,415km and an introductory price of  P1,398,888.

More than 800 reservations were made during the four-day event, and the first units have just been turned over at MG Alabang. Two happy new owners attended the ceremony: Mauro Cortez and Reginald Gregorio. The former chose the G50 PHEV as a workhorse for his furniture business, while the latter wanted a people mover for his family.
