VinFast first entered the Philippine market in mid-2024, so the following year was a significant indicator of how the Vietnamese giant approached the saturated electric vehicle sector.

VinFast has been consistently introducing new models to expand its EV lineup in the Philippines. This year, VinFast previewed its seven-seater MPV—the Limo Green—at the B2B EV symposium. The Limo Green is designed specifically with fleet operations in mind and positioned to serve corporate mobility programs, employee shuttle services, hotel and tourism transport groups, airport transfers, and government fleets seeking to modernize their transport systems.

However, there’s more to it than simple sales figures.

To reach more owners nationwide, VinFast has opened 30 dealerships and partnered with prominent repair and tire shops, including Motech Philippines, Tire King, Power Tread, and Marcjan Cavite.

Motech Philippines president Johann Rommel Naguiat described this convenience as a first of its kind. “VinFast customers can drive with confidence that their VinFast vehicle will be well cared for, anywhere at any time.”

Not only did VinFast reassure customers about the longevity of its vehicles, but it also addressed the issue of resale value. The Residual Value Guarantee program sparked a revolution in EV ownership, ensuring 80% of the original cost after 12 months.

In addition to consumers, commuters were treated to a new taxi service, Green GSM. The ride-hailing app, launched last June, was poised as the first all-electric fleet in the Philippines. Shortly after its debut, the app charted number one in the Travel and Local category of the Google Play Store.

For the charging infrastructure, V-Green is currently being rolled out and aiming to expand nationwide in the not-so-distant future.

The general public contributed to VinFast’s future through the initiative PiliPinas: “Your Vote, Your Design for the Future Filipino Drive.” The people had a chance to choose their favorite design sketches, which will influence the next generation of models.

VinFast’s most significant achievement in the country was joining the Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines (CAMPI) in mid-2025. This step brought a new voice into the EV revolution, marking “a significant step forward in our commitment to shaping the future of mobility in the Philippines,” said VinFast Southeast Asia CEO Antonio “Toti” Zara.
