This year, thanks to the 2024 Olympics, Filipino gymnast Carlos Yulo became a national celebrity after winning two gold medals. Not only did he receive cash rewards, he also got a couple of nice cars. Not bad for a short guy who had perfected his demanding sport.

Such is his mastery of his discipline that he has inspired a generation of young athletes.

In fact, Toyota Motor Philippines held a “Start Your Impossible” gymnastics camp at the Gymnastics Association of the Philippines in the heart of Manila with Yulo taking the lead. Toyota supports Carlos’s advocacy by organizing this clinic to motivate future athletes.

Witnessing how Yulo interacted with emerging talent definitely encouraged young dreamers to pursue their passion and continue to hone their skills.

This noble Toyota project aims to impel the youth to strive for greatness and to also be advocates for social good. Winning gold medals and fancy cars is just a bonus.
