When VinFast Philippines shared the pricing of the VF 5, some readers were confused as to why the electric car was being offered “without the battery.” That’s because the brand has the option for a battery-subscription plan.

Instead of owning the battery, VF 5 customers can lease it with a monthly fee of P5,800 for maximum mileage of 1,500km. With this, the manufacturer will take care of battery maintenance. And, should the capacity fall below 70%, the battery will be replaced.

If you’d like to reserve a VF 5, you can head to any of the three dealers and give a deposit of P5,000, which is refundable under VinFast’s policy. The distributor also promises a direct discount of P50,000 and freebies worth more than P50,000 for every vehicle purchased. Also, up to 100 customers who reserve a VF 5 (without battery subscription) until August 5, can have a chance to win a P95,000 discount.

“By launching the VF 5 and introducing our unique battery subscription program to local consumers, we reaffirm our commitment to providing high-quality affordable products with excellent after-sales services,” said VinFast Philippines CEO Nguyen Thi Minh Ngoc.

The VF 5 will come with a seven-year or 160,000km warranty. For more information, you can visit the website of VinFast Philippines.
