Today is the big day for VinFast Philippines. After launching a few months ago, the Vietnamese EV brand opened its first three showrooms today: VinFast EDSA, VinFast Aseana, and VinFast Alabang.

The first model to go on sale is the VF 5. The entry-level model goes for P992,000 without the battery, and P1,191,000 with the battery. Customers who purchase the vehicle without the battery will have to rent one via a monthly subscription service.

Aside from the VF 5, you can also see the VF 7 and the VF 9 in the metal at the dealers. Interestingly, although the VF e34 was said to be part of the initial lineup, there was no mention of it.

“With an increasingly expanding dealer network, VinFast is committed to bringing Filipino consumers high-quality products and dedicated service, contributing to promoting the electrification revolution and improving the quality of life,” said VinFast Philippines CEO Nguyen Thi Minh Ngoc.

There’s still a lot that hasn’t been made known, so we’ll have to stay tuned for more updates.
