BYD Philippines under ACMobility is looking to expand its portfolio further by introducing the Sealion 6 DM-i SUV.

This new offering is powered by the Super DM-i Technology, which combines the benefits of an electric vehicle with “the ability to travel greater distances than ever before.” Apparently, the hybrid system can easily attain a driving range of “beyond 1,000km.”

According to BYD Philippines’ website, it is a dual-mode plug-in hybrid system that also utilizes a large-capacity battery, an electric motor, and a gasoline engine that can both drive the wheels and act as a range extender when needed.

While the Sealion 6 DM-i will be launching on July 25 at the Glorietta Activity Center in Makati, interested customers can already inquire and reserve their own units at all BYD dealerships nationwide as stocks are already present.

Additionally, the first BYD Tech Tour will also be held on July 26-28 also in Glorietta. Test drives and interactive displays will be available for the public to get to know the brand’s cars.
