In preparation for the Holy Week, Metro Pacific Tollways Corporation (MPTC) is rolling out the “Biyaheng Arangkada” program on its expressways (NLEX, SCTEX, NLEX Connector, CAVITEX, CALAX, and CCLEX) from March 27 to April 6.

Motorists can expect assistance in various forms such as:

  • Roadside assistance stations
  • Medical teams on standby at select stops
  • Free towing to the nearest exit for Class 1 and Class 1M (for CCLEX) vehicles (from March 27 to April 6)
  • 24/7 customer service support via hotline (1-35000) and the MPT DriveHub app
  • EV charging stations and free Wi-Fi at select NLEX and SCTEX Rest and Refuel Stations
  • Free 24/7 basic mechanical services at all NLEX and SCTEX Rest and Refuel Stations

No roadworks, lane closures, and maintenance activities will be held to ensure smooth traffic flow. There may also be counterflow schemes, if needed.

If you’ll be traveling on NLEX, MPTC anticipates heavy traffic going northbound on Wednesday (April 1) and Thursday (April 2), and increased congestion going southbound from Saturday (April 4) to Monday (April 6).

The Holy Week is one of the most challenging times for motorists. That’s why it’s important to be prepared and well-rested before driving out of town. Make sure your vehicle is roadworthy, and that you have enough load in your RFID account.
