Women’s World Car of the Year announces 6 winners for 2022

The criteria were based on safety, driving, technology, design, environmental impact and value for money

Remember the extensive list of cars that the jurors of the 2022 Women’s World Car of the Year had to choose from? Last month’s voting has just concluded, and the WWCOTY has announced the winning vehicles of each category. Out of the 65 choices in the six categories, here are the victors:

Urban model (under 4,400mm): Peugeot 308

Family SUV (between 4,400mm and 4,600mm): Kia Sportage

Performance car (no size restrictions): Audi e-Tron GT

The panel consisted of 56 female motoring journalists from 40 countries. It will be deciding which vehicle (out of the six category winners) will take the title of the “Best Car of the Year,” the announcement of which will be on March 8, which is International Women’s Day.
